Version v1.0 (draft) · Last updated: 5 October 2026
1. Before you start: can you delete your account now?
1.1 You can delete your Rinn account if all of these are true:
you have no loan outstanding through Rinn;
you have no approved loan that is waiting to be disbursed; and
you have no loan application in progress.
1.2 If one of these applies, you cannot delete your account yet. This protects you: your account is how you see your schedule, pay your EMIs, receive your KFS and statements, and get your NOC. Here is what to do instead:
| Your situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| Your application is in progress | Withdraw it in the app, then come back here. Its data is then deleted within 30 days unless the law requires otherwise |
| Your loan is approved but not yet disbursed | Decline or cancel the offer in the app, then come back here |
| Your loan has been disbursed and you are within the cooling-off period stated in your KFS | You can exit the loan by repaying the principal and the proportionate APR, without a prepayment penalty. See the cooling-off period. Once the loan is closed, you can delete your account |
| Your loan is outstanding | Repay or close the loan first. See Repaying your loan and Paying early or closing your loan |
| You want to stop marketing or withdraw a consent, but keep your account or loan | You don't need to delete anything. See consent and app permissions in our Privacy Policy |
1.3 If you only used our website (for example, the eligibility checker or an enquiry form) and never created a Rinn account, you can still use this form to have that data deleted.
2. Choose what you want deleted
You can choose one of two options in the form.
Option A: Delete my Rinn account and all my data that can lawfully be deleted
- Your account is closed and you can no longer sign in with this mobile number.
- Every piece of personal data that no law requires us to keep is deleted.
- Records the law requires to be kept (section 3) are restricted and deleted when their period ends.
- If you want to use Rinn again later, you will start a new account and go through KYC again.
Option B: Keep my account, delete the data I don't need to keep
- Your account stays open so you can still see past loan documents, statements and NOCs.
- We delete: data from rejected, withdrawn or abandoned applications; data you allowed us to keep for future offers; your eligibility-checker entries; your marketing consent and any optional consents; and documents you uploaded for an application that did not go ahead.
- Records of any closed loan stay available to you in the app for the period the law requires.
3. What is deleted, and what is kept

3.4 Records that are kept are locked away: only authorised people can see them, only for the legal purpose, and every access is logged. They are not used for marketing, credit offers or anything else. When the period ends, they are deleted or anonymised. Full details are in the data-retention section of our Privacy Policy.
4. Your credit report
4.1 The lender, Richard Tiecon Private Limited, an RBI-registered NBFC, reports loans to credit information companies, such as TransUnion CIBIL, Experian, Equifax and CRIF High Mark. This is the lender's legal obligation, and it continues independently of your Rinn account. Deleting your account does not delete, change or hide your loan history on your credit report. The credit information companies keep that information as required under applicable credit information regulations.
4.2 A closed loan reported as closed is part of your credit history, and a well-repaid loan can help it. If something on your credit report looks wrong, see Your loan and your credit report.
5. Request deletion
Request account and data deletion
For Rinn (Rinn Loan App) by Rinncrest Financial Technologies Private Limited
This request covers your Rinn account data and your WhatsApp conversations with us. We delete everything we are allowed to delete. Records the law requires us to keep stay locked away until their retention period ends (see section 3).
6. How long it takes
6.1 Sign-in, sessions and marketing are switched off immediately once your request is verified. We complete the rest of your request within 7 working days, and in no case more than 30 days, and confirm by SMS, and by email if you gave one.
6.2 If we need more information, or if part of your request cannot be completed because a law requires a record to be kept, we will tell you why within the same period.
7. Other ways to ask
7.1 In the Rinn app: Settings → Delete account. This opens the same request on this page with your number already verified.
7.2 By email: write to [email protected] from your registered email address, or quoting your registered mobile number, with the subject "Delete my Rinn account" and the option (A or B) you want. We will verify your identity with an OTP to your registered mobile number before we act. We will never ask you to share that OTP over the phone; you will enter it on our website yourself.
7.3 By post: Grievance Redressal Officer, Rinncrest Financial Technologies Private Limited, 42, Prince Anwar Shah Road, Lake Gardens, Kolkata 700045, West Bengal.
8. If something goes wrong
If your request is not completed on time, or you disagree with our decision, contact our Grievance Officer:
Bipasa Adhikary, Grievance Redressal Officer [email protected] · [email protected] · +91 82309 07903 42, Prince Anwar Shah Road, Lake Gardens, Kolkata 700045, West Bengal
Please quote your reference number. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact the lender's Grievance Redressal Officer and then, for how your personal data was handled, the Data Protection Board of India. The full escalation path is in our Privacy Policy, on Raise a complaint and in our Grievance Redressal Policy.
9. Questions
Can I delete my Rinn account without the app?
Yes. This form works in any browser, without signing in and without the app installed. You verify your request with an OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
Can I delete my account while I have a loan?
No. You can delete your account once the loan is repaid and closed, so you never lose access to your schedule, payments or NOC.
Will deleting my account delete everything?
Almost everything. Records the law requires, such as KYC and loan records, are kept for set periods, locked away and then deleted. Section 3 lists each one.
Will deleting my account change my credit score?
No. Your loan history is reported to credit information companies by the lender, and deleting your account does not remove or change it.
Can I undo a deletion?
No. Once deletion is complete it cannot be reversed. If you want to use Rinn again, you can create a new account.
